Rackspace have announced availability of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition on the Rackspace Cloud.
The cost of SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition starts at $0.72 per hour plus charges for Rackspace’s Windows Cloud Server.
As well as SQL Server 2008, Rackspace also offers .NET developers the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Plug-In for the Rackspace Cloud and Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise images.
