Secure mobile messaging platform provider TigerText is launching an API integration with file hosting/transfer service vendor Dropbox, Inc. The integration is designed to allow Dropbox users to securely send encrypted documents via TigerText, with a preset lifespan and the ability to recall an attachment from a recipient’s device at any time.

Looks like Tigertext is becoming a real enterprise app and a leader in BOYD and HIPAA security.

We have been using Tigertext at our midsized hospital for about 9 months now, and it has been a very good app for our doctors who now can freely send text messages and Admin who doesn’t have to worry about HIPAA compliance lawsuits.

Now Tigertext has added Dropbox HIPAA compliance for file sharing, this is really great and I already send IT a message to implement ASAP. Now we can get the Doctors file sharing large Ultrasound images without HIPAA issues. I think this is a great additional product for one that is already great.
