Step 1: When you start the software, this window opens up as shown below. The software is easy to understand and the interface is quite interactive. You get various options in the Menu which can be used for major steps.

Step 2: Click on Open to start the process. This will lead you to add the damaged SQL databases.
Step 3: Once you click on Open a small window will appear to link you to the path location of the SQL databases. You can search for the MDF file which is supposed to be recovered and click on Open.
Step 4: Right after you hit the Open option the MDF file is loaded and the next pop up will open. This will be for scanning processes as the software scans the database prior to recovering data. Select the scanning mode and provide the version of SQL Server to which the database belongs.
- Two scanning modes are provided Quick and Advance. The advance scanning is integrated with more advance technology of scanning and provides a thorough scanning of your MDF database. It is recommended to select this Advance scanning mode for severe damages in data integrity of SQL databases, this will help you in better SQL database recovery.
- You can select the version of SQL Server from the provided options. There is one more provision of Auto Detect SQL Server File version which can be checked in case you are not aware of the version of the database. This is really helpful because if wrong version is selected the software might not work.
Once you select the scan mode and version of SQL, you can proceed by clicking OK.
Step 5: There is one more provision of adding the SQL NDF files associated to the MDF file chosen. Just beside the Scan Options is tab of NDF Options, in case you also want to recover the associated NDF files you can click this option. Here you will get some more options of adding the NDF files.

These options can be used to add the NDF files which are associated with MDF files. You can choose the first available option of Auto Detect which will automatically detect the associated NDF file(s) and add them to tool. Or you can choose the NDF files by browsing them in computer choosing the latter option. You can also add another file, remove any particular file or add whole folder if needed.
Once you perform the necessary selection click OK.
Step 6: Once the scanning process is completed a message is shown. The report will consists of full details of scanning. Process of scanning hardly takes time and is very quick. But a large MDF file might take more time as compared to regular MDF file.
Step 7: When the scanning is complete the software asks if the scanned file has to be saved or not. You can click Yes if you want to save the scanned file. Or click No to skip this step.
Step 8: Once scanning is done a preview of your loaded SQL MDF file is shown. In the left panel the MDF file contents is viewable with the elements Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, etc. You can click on particular element for expand its contents. Once you click on any specific table you will be provided with entire data of that table.
Step 9: Once you are done with viewing the content. You can click on Export option and export all the data of that database to new MDF file.
Step 10: Export To/As options are flexible and can be used in both conditions if you have live SQL server or not having an SQL server. Tool has two export options;
- SQL Server Database: Saves data in live SQL Server
- SQL Server Compatible SQL Scripts: Saves data in compatible scripts in case of non availability of SQL server live on machine.
- One more option which is provided is, you can export “With Schema & data” or “With Only Schema”.
If you choose the first option, you will have to provide the SQL database credentials like server name, user name, etc. You also get option to select the data types which has to be exported by checking the checkbox in front of the data types. Once you provide the necessary details, you can hit Export/Save.
Step 11: In case you choose Save as Scripts then you will have to provide the location where the scripts will be saved. Once you provide the path location scripts will be saved.
Software is capable to recover any type of corruption in both MDF and NDF files and works fine despite of the degree of corruption.
SQL database recovery can be achieved on databases belonging to almost all of the versions of SQL Server including; 2012, 2008, 2005 & 2000.
The saving database strategy is very innovative and helps you save the recovered SQL database data even if your machine is not having live SQL Server using the compatible scripts.
The auto detection methodology also helps a lot when the version of SQL is not known and the location of associated NDF files is not known as there can be multiple NDF files saved at same location belonging to different MDF files.
